This is the 2nd of 4 swatches and reviews of the Naked, Naked 2, Naked 3 and Naked Smoky palettes. They will be posted weekly and you can read the first one on the first Naked palette here.
Let me start off by saying that the packaging has improved immensely since the first Naked palette. Naked 2 is in a metal case that looks and feel expensive.
I have only had this palette since x-mas 2015, so it hasn’t been used as much as the first one. But it has been used on a weekly basis. Here are the swatches:
Foxy (cream bisque matte)
Half Baked (golden bronze shimmer)
Bootycall (cork shimmer)
Chopper (copper shimmer with silver micro-glitter)
Tease (creamy pale brown matte)
Snakebite (dark bronze shimmer)
Suspect (pale golden beige shimmer)
Pistol (light grayish brown shimmer)
Verve (oyster shimmer)
YDK (cool bronze shimmer)
Busted (deep brown shimmer)
Blackout (blackest black matte).
My favorite shades are Tease, Snakebite, Suspect, and YDK, I love the colors and the texture is so velvety smooth and easy to blend.
I love that this palette has a matte black. I’ve been using Blackout as an eyeliner and it works perfectly fine with a small slanted brush. And Bootycall is a great hightligher for the inner corners of the eyes.
The only two shades that I’m not all that in love with are Half Baked (read more here), and Pistol. Pistol is a great color, but the texture is a little more dry and harder to work with that the other shades in this palette.
